OutSystems Developer School

Developer Schools are aimed at developers with 2 or more years of experience in programming languages such as PHP, .NET, Java, SQL, or other low-code platforms. The ideal candidate does not yet work with OutSystems and is motivated to learn it, as well as switch to an OutSystems developer job after the training ends.

The OutSystems Developer School program covers the Associate Reactive Developer (OutSystems 11) curriculum. This path covers the basics of OutSystems development, from client and server logic to data modeling, advanced aggregates, and more. See the Program Content table at the top of this page for more details.

Developer Schools main goal is to train new developers in OutSystems. Therefore, if you already work with the platform, we’d recommend exploring other training options available in the Training section of our website.

Yes, you can. However, please note that we give priority to applicants from the respective edition’s region.

Participants are selected following a set of criteria, namely:

1. Basic skills assessment score
2. Years of professional experience as a developer
3. Programming languages used
4. Motivation to learn OutSystems and get a job in the field
5. Other experience

Application results are typically communicated up to 5 working days prior to the Developer School’s start date.

Successful participants of a Developer School get a free voucher for the Associate Reactive Developer (OutSystems 11) certification exam. Please note that in order to get a voucher, the participant must complete a set of requirements, namely having over 70% attendance, being active during class, and completing the assigned exercises.

No. The voucher awarded through this program is only valid for the Associate Reactive Developer (OutSystems 11) certification.

Yes, if your previous application was not successful, you can apply to a new Developer School and try again. Please note that in this case, you will need to repeat the full application process, including filling out the registration form and completing the basic skills assessment quiz.

No. It is not possible to apply to multiple Developer Schools at the same time. Please apply only to the edition that best suits your time zone and schedule.

The certification voucher is valid for a month, counting from your Developer School’s last day.

While OutSYstems cannot guarantee you a job placement after the completion of this program, profiles of successful participants will be shared with our network of partners and customers in the respective region.
